Semi-annual Shred-it Event

Join Us for Tidy-Up Trumbull – April 25th

Help make our community shine! Tidy-Up Trumbull returns on April 25, and we invite everyone to take part in this annual effort to clean up our roadsides, neighborhoods, parks, and commuter parking lots. Participants will receive trash bags and gloves, but if you have your own work gloves, please feel free to bring them.

This event is perfect for families, neighbors, coworkers, scout troops, school groups, community organizations, individuals completing community service hours, and friends. Everyone is welcome! Taking part is also a great way to help children develop an appreciation for the outdoors and the importance of caring for our environment. Join us for a kick-off at 8:30 a.m. at Twin Brooks Park Pavilion, where you can pick up your supplies. Clean-up will run from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. To participate, please register your group and reserve your preferred tidy-up area by emailing trumbullcommunitywomen@gmail.com. We hope you’ll join us in making Trumbull cleaner and greener!

Winter Accessories Drive – October 15 to March 31

Trumbull Community Women are collecting new winter accessories that will benefit Bridgeport Rescue Mission and Spooner House (Shelton). Both organizations provide food, shelter, clothes, and support services to people in need.

PLEASE CONSIDER DONATING: New socks, gloves, hats, scarves and hand warmers.

Donations can be dropped off at the Giving Tree located in the lobby of the Trumbull Public Library by the second set of doors.
