On-Going Project

Giving Tree (located in the lobby of the Trumbull Library)

Winter Accessories Drive to benefit Bridgeport Rescue Mission

The Giving Tree Winter Accessories Drive for the benefit of Bridgeport Rescue Mission will run from October 15 – January 15. We will be collecting NEW socks, hats, gloves, scarves and hand warmers in the lobby of the Trumbull library. Here is a little summary about BRM and the drive:

The Winter Accessories Drive supports individuals and families served by Bridgeport Rescue Mission. The Mission assists people experiencing homelessness, poverty, and addiction by providing shelter, meals, clothing, and support services. Donated items like hats, gloves, scarves, and socks help protect recipients from harsh winter conditions while promoting dignity and well-being.

Donations can be dropped off at the Giving Tree located in the lobby of the Trumbull Public Library (Quality Street branch) by the second set of doors.

We thank our community for their generosity and support!
